Watching Water Glide

Watching the Water Glide
Standing at the brook, I look….
Watch the water glide
And as I look, I learn—
Just by watching.

I watch the stones
Failing to hold water back,
Creating disturbance.
Yet water moves around and on.

I look deeply into the water,
And both water and I are carried away.
Where do we come from?
What does it say about true nature?

The gravity of the moment pulls me.
Water inside my body flows.
And I let go of the stone within….
No longer disturbed.
